About Frankie’s
A Mediterranean-inspired, scratch-made restaurant and cocktail bar in the heart of Sisters, Oregon, with a gluten-free focus, dog-friendly covered courtyard, and inviting outdoor seating. Enjoy live music, on-site or off-site events, and catering—phew, that’s a lot of ways to experience Frankie’s!
This building has been part of the Sisters community for more than 45 years.
Over the decades, it has lived several lives — first as the Depot Café, then the Depot Deli, and most recently as Sisters Depot, when I took over in 2020. Across those eras, it has held countless memories: birthday parties, retirement celebrations, weddings, family meals, and everyday moments that mattered. That spirit of gathering has always been the through-line — and it still is.
From Depot to Frankie’s
When I became the owner in 2020, the name Sisters Depot honored the building’s history. Over time, though, the restaurant itself changed in meaningful ways.
We no longer operate as a deli.
We don’t offer counter service.
Everything we serve — food, sauces, dressings, and cocktails — is made from scratch.
The name Depot carried deep roots, but it also carried expectations that no longer reflected the experience we were offering. By 2025 — five years in — I had paid my respects to the Depot era and was ready to make the space my own, while continuing the long tradition of being a place where people come together to celebrate.
Frankie’s isn’t a departure from the past — it’s the next chapter.
Why Frankie’s?
Frankie’s is named in honor of my dad, Greg Franklin, who loved good food, live music, and a good party — and for Frankie, my French Bulldog and constant reminder that hospitality should feel warm, and welcoming.
The name reflects what the restaurant has become: personal, intentional, and rooted in connection.
Scratch-Made, Thoughtfully Done
Because everything at Frankie’s is made from scratch, we’re able to do something many restaurants can’t: offer a menu that is naturally gluten-free focused, without sacrificing flavor or creativity.
This approach allows us to accommodate a wide range of dietary needs — not as an afterthought, but as part of how we cook. The food is comforting but creative, familiar without being predictable, and designed to be enjoyed together.

A Place for Gathering — On Site and Beyond
Frankie’s continues the tradition this building has always held while expanding it beyond these walls:
Whether it’s a dinner, a show, a wedding, a milestone celebration, or a gathering somewhere else entirely, our goal is the same: create experiences that feel thoughtful, welcoming, and memorable.
Frankie’s has a large, beautiful courtyard designed for gathering, lingering, and enjoying good food in the open air. You’ll often see well-behaved dogs relaxing alongside their people, soaking up the sunshine and the community vibe.
Naming the restaurant Frankie’s felt especially right in a place where dogs are part of everyday life — companions on hikes, patio regulars, and members of the family. While Frankie himself is the spirit behind the name, the philosophy is simple: hospitality should extend beyond the plate and include the whole experience.
Frankie’s was formerly known as Sisters Depot and is located in the historic Depot Café / Depot Deli building in downtown Sisters.
Gratefully, Eryn
